We're trading as normal

We just wanted to make sure everyone knows we’re still trading as normal with minimal delivery delays. We run the business ourselves and from home in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales and are under no lockdown restrictions at the moment. 

For sending packages we only use Australia Post and they are continuing to operate their national network including to Victoria and Melbourne as the postal service has been deemed an essential service.

Whilst our experience to date has been that delays are minimal, there should however be an expectation that some items may be delivered slower than normal due to the situation in Victoria. Reasons for possible delays include a reduction in air freight capacity (less planes flying packages), increased package volume (everyone is shopping online) and the social distancing requirements in the Australia Post sorting facilities which slow down the processing of packages. Australia Post is publishing regularly updates on the impacts to their domestic network and we're keeping a close eye on this.

If you need something fast as always we recommend the Express Post option when your making a purchase. Whilst the 'Next day' guarantee has been suspended by Australia Post, in our experience the Express Post parcels are still being delivered very quickly with an average time from order to delivery of 1.9 days, which is much faster than the Parcel Post average of 4 days.
